What’s the difference between counselling and psychotherapy?

Counselling looks at and deals with the day-to-day issues that arise as a result of an issue or problem.

Psychotherapy is an approach that provides a more in-depth look at the root causes and nature of those problems.

If you find the same problems arise time and again, you need to understand the unconscious patterns and how you learned to behave the way that you do.
